Frequently Asked Questions

What is the recovery time for our outpatient procedures?

Recovery time is dependent on what kind of activity level the patient does on a day-to-day basis. Some patients see faster recovery in the first two days while some patients experience recovery one (1) week following the procedure. For surgeries requiring general anesthesia, the doctor recommends patients relax and recover for at least 1-2 weeks after the procedure, depending on how the patient tolerated the procedure.

Who do I call if I have questions regarding my medication?

Nursing staff is available to answer any questions or concerns about your prescribed medications or any health related issues you feel may be caused by your medication.

What kinds of payment transactions are taken upon my appointment?

Las Vegas Comprehensive Pain Management Center accepts cash, credit, and debit for any required payment transactions. Staff will provide patients a receipt for all payment transactions.

Questions about billing?

We have billing staff on site at the clinic who are available to answer any questions regarding billing matters.

Who do I contact after hours?

We encourage anyone experiencing a medical emergency to call 911 or go to the hospital. If your symptoms or questions do not warrant a hospital visit, please call our main clinic phone line, you will be greeted by our 24-hour emergency answering service. The answering service will note your call and contact the clinic as we have a provider on call at all times.

What precautions are being taken in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Las Vegas Comprehensive Pain Management Center is taking all proper precautions necessary in accordance with CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of all patients and staff. We have implemented social distancing in our lobby area, all patients are required to wear a face mask upon arrival, hand sanitizer is provided for all patients and staff wipes and cleans all surfaces and equipment after each use, in addition to all essential precautions.

How soon can a new patient be seen?

We look forward to seeing and helping new patients. Once a new patient has received a referral from their primary care provider and authorization from their current insurance provider, a new patient appointment can be scheduled within 1-2 weeks depending on availability.
